“US outfit follow in the footsteps of Tame Impala with this driven psych-rock belter" – Mystic Sons UK - New Music Discovery
Bio
Don’t Tell Dena re-paints their favorite flavors of music by using distinctive bass lines, quirky guitar effects, and tantalizing synthesizers. Don’t Tell Dena draws inspiration from their favorite genres such as alt-rock, psychedelic rock, funk, blues, jazz and pop.
The 5-piece band started as a collaboration between lead vocalist Chris Krummrich and drummer Sean Kanaly in 2015. In 2016, they added lead guitar/vocalist Campbell Young and bassist/vocalist Triston Lightner.
In 2020, looking to expand their sound, the band added Kentucky-native AJ Seadler on the guitar and since, have released their third album, “Cautious Optimism.”
In September of 2021 Don't Tell Dena was invited to open for the one and only Squeeze at The Criterion in Oklahoma City! It was a great experience and we are grateful for the opportunity.
